Across exploration, studies, processing plants and boardrooms, Matthew has watched the same thing happen again and again. A study team builds the best understanding a company has ever had of its orebody, then disbands. The reasoning behind a cut-off grade or a recovery assumption leaves with the contractors. Years later a new team pays to rediscover it, or quotes a figure nobody can trace back to its source.
The cost is more than time. When the evidence behind a number is lost, the Competent Person signs with less certainty, the board decides with less clarity, and the market is told things the company can no longer fully stand behind.
QMAI exists to stop that loss. Not by replacing the people who know, but by keeping what they concluded, where it came from and who stood behind it, so every new team starts from what the company already knows.
