Mining knowledge management platform
A shared memory for your mining organisation, built from its own records.
QMAI builds a private, per-company World Model from your own feasibility studies, JORC reports, drill-hole and assay data, metallurgical testwork, contracts and environmental approvals. AI does the reading and extraction; your people review what matters. Knowledge then passes between teams, studies and generations of staff instead of leaving with them.
How it works
-
01
Ingest
Studies, announcements, contracts, testwork, approvals and site records, from uploads or SharePoint. Each document is classified and access-controlled on arrival.
-
02
Extract
Facts, entities and obligations are extracted with their page-level source. Conflicting and outdated figures are flagged, not silently overwritten.
-
03
Review
Your people approve, edit, supersede or retract facts where review is required. Decisions are dated and kept in the audit trail.
-
04
Use
Agents answer questions, draft study chapters, review announcements and brief the board, citing every source and showing its attestation status.
What's in the platform
Alongside the eight value-chain agents, these capabilities work from the same governed record.
Disclosure and compliance
ASX announcement review, Competent Person attestation, JORC Table 1 evidence checklists, regulatory change alerts and environmental obligations with due dates and owners.
Studies, scoping to DFS
Discipline requirements linked to evidence, gaps visible before review, and Study Writer drafting chapters with citations your reviewers can check.
Decision Room
Frame a consequential decision, assemble the evidence, record the choice and rationale as an immutable record, and assign the follow-up actions.
Contracts
Owner-side contract review: obligations, expiry and renewal controls, and findings linked to the clause that supports them.
Site visits and field evidence
Record walkdowns, readings, photos and voice notes against the site, turn findings into owned actions, and export the visit record.
EPCM engagement walls
Each client study is isolated behind its own information barrier, and the World Model can be handed to the owner at study completion.
Built for mining documents and data
QMAI reads the records mining companies actually produce, across the whole lifecycle from exploration to closure. Documents come in by upload or from SharePoint, and each is classified and access-controlled on arrival.
Feasibility studies
Scoping, PFS and DFS reports, chapters, appendices and the assumptions behind them.
Resource and reserve reports
JORC Table 1, Competent Person statements and resource and reserve reports.
Drill-hole and assay data
Collars, surveys, sample and assay records, and QA/QC results.
Metallurgical testwork
Comminution, flotation, leach and recovery testwork, and process design criteria.
Mine plans and schedules
Design and schedule assumptions, and production and reconciliation reports.
Environmental approvals
EPBC approvals, Ministerial Statements, EAs, PEPRs and monitoring data.
Contracts and invoices
Mining, haulage and service contracts, rate schedules and invoices.
Corporate records
Board papers, ASX announcements and decision records.
For operating mines
Once we know your site, QMAI keeps learning it
We start with a site walk and conversations with your people. From there, QMAI connects what we saw to your operating records, so the picture of your operation stays current after we leave.
Site walks and field evidence
Photos, nameplates, control screens and voice notes, tagged to their place in the process.
Production and stockpiles
Recorded production, haulage and stockpile data, reviewed against plan.
Mine-to-mill reconciliation
Modelled, mined and milled tonnes and grade compared, with variances explained.
Findings with owners
Site visit findings turned into actions with an owner and a due date.
Value driver trees
Site earnings traced down to recovery, availability, throughput, reagents and energy.
Knowledge that survives rosters
What one shift or one contractor learned is kept for the next.
Case study: from a site walk and a camera to a digital value chain
Built for the companies that carry the risk without a tier 1 IT budget.
Mid-tier producers
Disclosure, reconciliation, climate reporting and contract leakage across one to a few operations.
Developers to FID
PFS and DFS evidence trails, Competent Person sign-off and board packs for the funding decision.
Funded explorers
Announcement review and resource governance, sized for a lean team.
EPCM firms
Engineering knowledge kept across studies, with walls between clients and a handover at completion.
Consultancies
Report production with the evidence a Competent Person needs to sign with confidence.
QMAI and general-purpose AI, side by side
Keep your general assistant for email and meetings. Use QMAI for the figures your board, your Competent Person and the market rely on.
| Capability | General-purpose AI assistant | QMAI |
|---|---|---|
| Mining know-how | General knowledge, not mining-specific | Built in: mining standards, technical references and practitioner experience across the lifecycle |
| Answers cite the source document | Often | Yes, with reviewable evidence |
| Knowledge kept after people move on | No | Yes, as a shared record |
| Outdated figures superseded with history | No | Yes |
| ASX, JORC and approvals logic | Generic | Built for Australian mining |
| Client-by-client walls for EPCMs | No | Yes |
