Mining AI · Knowledge management for mining companies
Your mine's digital memory.
Keep what your company knows. Pass it on.
Mining companies lose knowledge every time a study team disbands, a consultant finishes or an expert moves on. QMAI captures what your organisation knows from its studies, operations, contracts, testwork and decisions, keeps it linked to its source, and makes it easy for the next person to find, trust and build on.

Sound familiar?
The answer exists. Nobody can find it.
I'm sure we have a document that answered that. I think it was done during scoping.
Who changed the recovery assumption, and why?
We paid a consultant to work this out last time. Can we find their report?
The person who knew why we changed the crusher settings left last year.
Every one of those questions was answered once, in a report, a testwork program or a meeting. QMAI keeps those answers linked to where they came from, so the next person finds them in minutes instead of paying to rediscover them.
For operating mines
We learn your site in days, not months.
Our mining specialists walk your operation from pit to port, photograph equipment, nameplates and control screens, and talk to the people who run it. QMAI's AI turns that into a digital picture of your operation, linked to your production and maintenance records, so improvement starts from how your site really works.
01
Walk the site.
Photos, voice notes and operator conversations, from ore receival to product dispatch.
02
Talk to your people.
Structured interviews from the face to the plant to finance, every finding traced to its source.
03
Model the operation.
A digital value chain and value driver tree that show where the value and the bottlenecks are.

The cost of lost knowledge
Forgotten knowledge shows up as overruns, delays and rework.
Study teams disband, the consultant's report becomes a PDF and the expert who understood the ore moves on. The reasoning behind your studies, testwork and decisions, your most expensive intellectual property, leaves with them. You pay for it again in capital, in time to production and in rework.

Why it matters now
Disclosure risk is a board problem this quarter.
Every figure in a market announcement needs a source and a signature behind it. Most tier 2 and tier 3 companies can't produce that trail on demand.
In February 2025 ASX said “significant numbers of mining announcements required correction” in the preceding six months. Since June 2025, repeat offenders can be placed under a public close review procedure.
ASIC is taking listed miners and their directors to court over continuous disclosure failures.
The draft JORC Code 2026 says a Competent Person may rely on others' work only with a reasonable basis and should not accept it blindly. That is an evidence-trail requirement.
Mandatory climate reporting reached mid-tier (Group 2) entities on 1 July 2026, adding a second board-evidenced reporting stream.
Mining AI from exploration to market
Specialist AI and evidence-led workflows across the mining value chain.
QMAI brings studies, announcements, contracts and testwork into a private evidence platform. Specialist assistants help teams check data, investigate questions and draft work using authorised sources. Shared records and review controls help disciplines work from consistent, traceable evidence.
-
01 · Explore and define
Geology
Checks drill-hole, sample and assay data, runs QA/QC checks, and helps prepare the evidence behind exploration results and JORC Table 1 for professional sign-off.
-
02 · Design and plan
Mining
Maintains design and schedule assumptions, compares modelled, mined and milled results, and records reserve inputs and source references.
-
03 · Process
Metallurgy
Links testwork, recovery assumptions and ore-domain records, and supports process-design, mass-balance and metal-accounting reviews.
-
04 · Study and build
Studies and projects
Links scoping, PFS and DFS checklists to evidence, flags gaps for review, and helps draft study chapters with source references.
-
05 · Approve and monitor
Environment
Extracts approval conditions and obligations for review, tracks schedules and renewal deadlines, and assesses monitoring results against configured limits.
-
06 · Produce
Operations
Reviews recorded production and stockpile data, supports mine-to-mill reconciliation, and tracks site findings with assigned owners.
-
07 · Disclose and decide
Corporate and commercial
Reviews draft ASX announcements, supports evidence-linked decisions and board briefings, and tracks contract obligations, expiry and renewals.
-
08 · Improve value
Business improvement
Builds value-driver models, links initiatives to business cases, and tracks reported benefits against expectations.
Shared foundation
A shared evidence foundation, with controlled updates
Specialist assistants use authorised documents, structured records and a shared World Model: a single, checked record of what your company knows. Source-linked facts are checked before entering the governed record, with human review where required.
